Hi, I’m Karlee — a generally registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the founder of Revive & Thrive Psychology.

My work is grounded in a neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based approach, recognising and valuing different ways of thinking, learning, and experiencing the world. I aim to create a calm, respectful, and collaborative space where young people and families feel understood and supported.

About Us

    • Children and adolescents

    • Young adults (up to 25)

    • Parents and carers

    • Schools and educators

  • I have worked across education, private practice, disability, and crisis settings, which has shaped a strong understanding of the systems that impact young people across home, school, and community environments.

This experience informs a holistic and practical approach to supporting emotional wellbeing, development, and day-to-day functioning.

I also have a particular interest in neurodevelopmental differences, early intervention, and youth mental health.

    • Anxiety and emotional regulation concerns

    • Adjustment and transition concerns

    • Grief and loss

    • Trauma

    • Neurodevelopmental differences (including ADHD and Autism support)

    • Post-diagnostic support and care planning

    • Establishing neuroaffirming environments

    • Carer support, including stress, fatigue and burnout

    • Attachment and parenting support

    • Relationship difficulties (individual presentation only)

  • In my work, I draw on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each young person’s needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)-informed skills, Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, psychoeducation, and mindfulness-based strategies.

My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in neuroaffirming practice. I aim to support young people to better understand themselves, develop skills that are meaningful for them, and build confidence in navigating their environments in ways that align with their individual profile.

I also work alongside families to support understanding, reduce overwhelm, and provide practical guidance in navigating systems, services, and supports over time.

  • Revive & Thrive Psychology was created through both professional experience and recognising the need for support that is not only evidence-based, but also practical, collaborative, and responsive to real-world challenges.

Through my work, I saw that many families benefit from support that extends beyond assessment, particularly when navigating what comes next following a diagnosis.

This perspective is also shaped by my lived experience as a parent of a neurodivergent child, providing an understanding of the strengths, individuality, and complexities that can be part of navigating assessment, diagnosis, and support systems beyond.

    • Bachelor of Psychology

    • Graduate Diploma of Psychology

    • Master’s Degree in Psychology

    • Graduate Certificate in Autism and Neurodivergent Studies

  • I am committed to providing ethical, person-centred care within a safe and supportive environment, where young people feel understood and families feel supported over time.

I look forward to supporting you in taking the next step.
